Health Professionals

This shelf is designed for healthcare professionals involved in the care and support of people with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. This includes nurses, nurse trainers, doctors, surgeons, urologists, neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation professionals, community health workers, medical students, and nursing students.

At this stage, the resources focus mainly on continence management, including clean intermittent catheterization, bladder and bowel management, clinical guidance, training materials, practical protocols, follow-up care, prevention of complications, and multidisciplinary approaches.

The aim of this section is to support quality care, strengthen professional knowledge, improve training and service delivery, and promote consistent, evidence-informed continence management practices across different healthcare and community settings.
